![]() There is some bad printer and scanner software out there for the Mac (companies focus on the Windows version and oftentimes the Mac client is an afterthought). Reinstalling the printer software from a fresh download and rebooting afterwards did the trick. I was dealing with a similar problem recently where a networked printer would no longer show up in Mac OS X after an upgrade to network equipment. ![]() This driver oftentimes does not get installed by default, and you need to go to the manufacturer's web site to download it.Īs to why this may have been caused by a change in the router, I don't know. You need to make sure that you have a TWAIN driver installed. Acrobat X needs a TWAIN driver to "talk" to the scanner, whereas the "Image Capture" application that comes with Mac OS uses a different interface. ![]()
